Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is an agency within the city that is responsible for public transit and roadway infrastructure, including development and implementation of construction and financing plans for state and city roads, bridges and interchanges. As an ever-morphing company, it was a challenge for the OE&S team to update their workspace to be efficient, productive, and “brand proud” – using bold reds and blacks throughout to reflect the new JTA logo and graphics. Different departments had varying needs and workstyles, dictating the development of their specific workstations as well as collaborative areas, boardroom, conference and training rooms, and break rooms. In spite of the huge culture shift for the employees, the end result was one of bold, customized workspace that everyone in the office could enjoy and use efficiently.
